I tried OurDream AI thoroughly to see how the experience is, what it offers that’s different or at least good, and what you can actually do with it. Let’s look at the main aspects in closer detail:
👩🏼 Character and Backstories
From the get go, its clear that OurDream caters to the more wild fantasies of men with various characters with detailed backstories. As soon as you enter the website, you can explore what other users have created and you see this rich collection of beautiful AI ladies with unique stories.
The categories include ethnicity, age, hair color, build, personality traits, and more (like MILF, virgin, college student, etc.). For instance, when I chated with a 21 year old college classmate, it started off about a so-called biology test.
It’s clear that the AI model behind the texting is trained to be NSFW, as the conversation is full of racy details and pivots toward those elements. So, you’ll be having a steamy conversation in no time.
The chat response are quick. And even the in-chat image generation is quick. It took about five seconds for an image to be generated inside the chat.
There’s a lot of description of actions like biting lips, shifting weight, and breathing heavily, which I guess is to add that steamy factor, but I found it unnecessary.

Throughout the chat the gf maintains her character and stays in scenario you describe. The chat moves naturally based on what you reply. But if you change topic, it seamlessly dives into the new scenario.

The quality of images and videos is pretty good. For both realistic-looking characters and anime ones, the visuals are high-definition with plenty of detailing. Of course, the proportions and scenarios can seem unrealistic sometimes based on the category and your prompt, but as far as quality goes, it slaps.

The voice features include audio recording of your messages within chat and audio calls with the character. For latter, you’d need to sign up for the Premium plan.
I tried the audio calls, and the experience was fine. If I were to choose between text chat and audio, I’d choose text as it’s faster and better in terms. I’d get very detailed responses, whereas on audio the responses were rather brief and direct.
I did find the audio recording of messages within chat to be convenient. Not everyone is a quick typer, so the voice dictating of messages comes in quite handy (especially when you’re hands are otherwise occupied).
The voice of the character depends on how you set it up–that is–their age, ethnicity, and personality traits are used to determine the sound of her voice.
But it does sound AI at times which might be a turn off for some, like those voiceovers on TikTok videos. It didn’t do much for me but I still appreciate the fact that audio calls feature is there for an immersive auditory experience.

For instance, once I had entered all the information about the character, it took about 7 seconds to generate it.
With images, I had varying experience. Some images were generated in just a few seconds, while some took upwards of 5 seconds.
I believe that depends on the number of customizations and variations you want. Also, if you’re generating a large number of images at once, that might take a little longer.
